As everybody is aware CHYPPS as an independent charity officially closed on the 31 March 2018.
The CHYPPS Newsletter will continue under the umbrella of The Volunteer Network.

Glastonbury Town Council is supporting Volunteers week by facilitating two events at the Town Hall. The first is on Friday 1st June between 10am - 2pm and the second is on market day, June 5th also 10am - 2pm.
Places are free and a tables chairs will be avalible for each group. Take this opportunity to network with other voluntary organisations in your area and meet new potential volunteers in the community.

#Focus5 Key Workers
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and passionate Key Workers to join our team to support the company in delivering an exciting project called #Focus5 which is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund through the Building Better Opportunities programme. The project aims to support and engage socially excluded young people aged 15-18 years who are unemployed or economically inactive to move towards employment, education or training.

Adult Mental Health First Aid
An introductory session to raise your awareness of mental health, give you the confidence to interact with someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue, and understand how to challenge mental health stigma. Upon completion of this course you will get a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) manual, and a certificate to say you are MHFA Aware.

Level 2 & 3 certificates in Youth Work Practice
This course will run for 1 year with the last day for coursework submission being the March 2018.
This is a one-year self-study course. accredited by the Open College Network (West Midlands) and is endorsed by the Education Training Standards (ETS) Committee England on behalf of the Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) for youth and community work. There are two mandatory training days and 12 optional support/ supervision days during the year

British Youth Council Survey
BYC are conducting a survey to find out what young people of all ages think about their communities; whether or not they feel European; about stereotyping, bullying and hate crime; and the skills they have / need as young people today.
Their views will contribute to the UK's response and contribution to the next Structured Dialogue conference in Slovakia, where the BYC will be working with y oung people and decision makers from across the EU to create recommendations.
All young people taking part will be in with a chance of winning a £40 voucher.

C: print in colour, suitable for larger volumes of printing. The cost is £500 (RRP £16,995) and the maintenance fee is £90 per quarter.
Breakdown support from Ricoh, as well as toner cartridges, are included in the maintenance fee which is mandatory for the first 12 months. After that you decide whether or not to renew the maintenance agreement. Costs includes delivery.
